Don't Knock the Folks on the BusIt is important for journalists to write about issues in a political campaign. It is the responsibility of the candidates, however, to make the campaign issue-oriented. This essay examines how journalists report on issues and the value of that reporting. It also inventories the issues addressed by candidates in the presidential campaigns in 2000.
